Outside Tanks:

Our recommendation for outside tanks is to use straight Kerosene all year. If you choose to use anything but straight Kerosene, Mountain Petroleum will not be held responsible for any potential problems you may have.
 
Low Propane Usage:
A $65.00 rental fee will be charged for tanks and regulators that use less than 50 gallons of propane per year.
 
Automatic Deliveries:
We will make deliveries on a regular basis to your home. During cold weather we recommend that you, the homeowner, make regular checks on your fuel gauge. We cannot guarantee that you will never run out of fuel. Our guarantee is that if you do run out of fuel, we will bring you fuel and restart your furnace with no service charge, even in the middle of the night. For our customers who choose to leave their homes attended during the winter season it would be to your advantage to look into a home monitoring system that would notify you, the homeowner, that there is a problem. We will do everything in our power to assist you in a worry free heating season, but ultimately the responsibility lies with you.
Payment:

Please be aware that the budget season goes from July 1 through April 30. The budget prices will only be in effect during this period.

Payments are expected within 10 days of delivery or notice. For anyone who requires a longer period to pay their account, you must contact the office or use a Mastercard or Visa. In order to keep everyone's costs down, we cannot carry balances for an extended period of time. If your account becomes delinquent and payments are not made to bring your account up to date, automatic delivery will be discontinued and your account will no longer be eligible to be on the budget plan.
